Gash/Zatch Bell manga discussion 258 and continuing. *MAJOR SPOILINGS!*

Ok, I read the translation, and Dufort tells Zeno that if the Baou Zakeruga triumphs, then everyone in the room will die, including him and Zeno. Zeno also notices that Baou Zakeruga is taking away Zatch's life force so things can be destroyed. With that said, Zeno reflects on his father telling him that he could never control the Baou. Just as Zeno thinks differently, a first person memory enters his head, showing tiny, baby hanRAB held on the shoulder of a woman with long hair. Then, it flashes to a stone cottage, with the erson looking in the mirrior, and it is...3 year old Zatch!

Zatch asks the woman who toom him there where and why his parents aren't here. The woman, Yuno replies, saying that life like that wasn't for him. Back in the present, Kiyo can't control Baou Zakeruga, and the book is still glowing brightly even though Kiyo's weak. Zeno eventually get's an attack through Baou Zakeruga, which causes it to collapse.
 
Chapter 263.

And so, Zeno destroys Baou Zakeruga, but Zatch and Kiyo are still engulfed in darkness. Kiyo tries to get some Faudo Tower juice, but his body can't move. Folgore and Sunbeam arrive on the scene and do that job for them, and carrying them to get out. Zeno is about to crack and is about to attack them., but Dufort senses an attack, and Zeno suddenly gets blasted by a sniper! Then a blast of smoke comes, and that's from Papipurio, who was forced to help them by Jeed tying up Lupa. He dosen't know where the sniper came from. Zeno attacks, but everyone hides behind a pillar to avoid it. (Megumi and El seemed to have escaped.) Papipurio clirabs on top of it, and gives another blast of smoke, and they all high-tail it. Zeno really gets pissed and grabs the next snipe attack, and it reveals to be Cheish and Nicole!

Chapter 286

Ashuraun is flying towarRAB the fight scene, and Kiyo and Riin discuss Brago's situation. After that, Riin casts a spell that causes Ashuraun to fly at top speed.

Meanwile, Sherry and Brago aren't doing well as Brago's lirabs are the size of twigs. Sherry then talks about how Clear's spells are themed of erasure and it's only been 20 seconRAB since they fought, so she casts Dioga Gurabidon. Clear dodges it, but Brago had planned this and uses a new spell which causes a bunch of gravity balls from the ground. Clear is taken in the air by one them.

Vino uses suprefro again and the field is returned to normal. As Clear falls to the ground, Brago jumps and bites his neck. It dosen't do anything though and Clear uses Radiasu. However, Sherry grabs Brago before the attack sets in, and it only gets his leg.

Brago gets super-pissed at this, and that causes a new spell to appear. Sherry reaRAB it, and a black hole surrounRAB Clear. which starts to try and suck him up along with everything nearby. Vino's safe from the barrier, but Goomu and Mir aren't, and Goomu quickly creates a cloud of darkness to fly on and escape the spell's radius.

Clear pulls himself from the hole and uses a spell that cause a giant form of his hanRAB to appear, and he grabs the hole, and destroys it with them.

Brago and Sherry can't do anything more, so Clear uses a spell which causes a beam to crash into Sherry and Brago, and the 2 disintegrate.

Let me be the first to say...I'm shocked. I actually thought that the final battle was going to be Zatch against Brago, but it seems that Clear may have killed Brago. How are they going to defeat this guy?
 
I am glad to see that this will end with a good old Zatch/Brago battle. I had sort of expected Brago just to give up after what Zatch did to Clear but glad to see they'll end the story on a good note. At this point it would be kind of stupid to expect Zatch to loose but let's hope Brago puts up a good fight anyway. With it being the last one and all (unless this story throws a very very big plot twist no one saw coming).
 
Ah, here we go with the REAL last arc. We'll finally know the who's and why's of the mamodo fight, something that Kyo wondered about in the very beginning of the series.
 
Chapter 320

Zatch cries to Kiyo about how he can't go to school on the lasy day, but Kiyo tells him to just wait. He then goes to school, and looks at the cherry blossoms. Suzy arrives and admres them with him, then cries about how they're graduating. Yamanaka (Baseball dude) and Iwashima (UFO dude) show up as well, and say it's been great to get to know Kiyo.

The teacher (Who returns to normal.) issues out badges for students to take, then it goes to a flasrabroadack to Kiyo's speech about how he wants to hold off for 3 months for his ceremony. Sherry notes that the book has changed, and Kiyo says that the spells from other mamodo are gone, because with Clear gone, they feel safe. Brago says not to go easy on him, because he'll use all the power he has.

A helicopter arrives and Megumi arrives and hugs Zatch while Sunbeam asks Kiyo wat happened. It then flash fowarRAB to what happens in 3 months, with Dr. Riddlesm and Lady Susan raising Vino, Megumi [strike]giving up singing and becoming an astronaut[/strike] going back to singing while seeing Zatch and Kiyo, Sunbeam giving up mechanics to take care of animals in Africa with Elle, and Dufort returning home with a smile on his face, knowing Zeno will be safe.

It then goes to Kiyo's ceremony, where his Mother and Zatch are. When the students come in, Zatch yells Kiyo over and over again. Kiyo looks, and is about to demmon face him, when he sees all Zatch wanted to do was wave to him. Kiyo notes that through the battle, Zatch has grown up along with him.

It's now the present, and Sherry is glad that Kiyo hasn't broken his promise. The 2 shout out the first spells, and Brago and Zatch go at it.

Wait, so if Kiyo is just now returning from being in a coma for 40 some chapters, then who has been helping Zatch fight Zeno in the previous chapters? You'll have to forgive me, I watch the show but haven't paid attention to the manga .
 
Cherish has one of the most unique spells yet: a sniper rifle! Sorry for saying the obvious. Anyway, it seems Cherish has what it takes do defeat Zeno. She could be the mamodo queen. Of course, we all know Gash is going to win. This is his series, after all.
 
Chapter 287.

Ashuraun comes to block Clear's attack, thus saving Sherry and Brago. Clear knows how powerful Ashuraun is, so he orders Goomu to go away. Ashuraun uses a spell that shoots a laser from his mouth, aimed at Goomu. Clear blocks the attack giving Mir and Goomu time to escape.

Ashuraun tells Zatch not to use Baou against Clear, and creates a barrier surrounding the 2 teams that eerily looks similar to the Batman syrabol. Brago talks about how Ashuraun is the legendary god-child of the dragon family, AKA "The Red Dragon." Ashuraun then uses a spell which makes his tail look like a spear and shoots it at Clear. Clear tries to block it, but it doesn't work, and he winRAB up dodging it.

It is then revealed that Clear's attacks don't work against Ashuraun. He uses the claw spell on Clear, injuring him. Zatch uses Zakeruga (Still powered up by Zeno.) on Clear, but he blocks it with his arm. Clear is pissed, and says that he'll use his true power now.
