Gas Mileage on your Stock 2011 Touring

2011 ultra limited only have 1900 miles but have gotten from 37-43 live in a valley with lots of mountains.

I've never seen 40 MPG with my 08 Ultra back when it was stock or with stage 1 in 15K miles to date. We average 32-38 no matter how we ride.

I'm getting 33-35 in a 103 with cams.


Of course, I do like to twist the throttle.

I have a 2010 Limited with 4500 miles and now get 38 to 40. When new it got 40 to 42. When I carried it in for 1000 mile service, they changed all oils to synthetic and I did complain about the heat and lugging way to easily. When they finished it ran like it should. Don't know if they made changes to the electronics or not. I am assuming that is where the 2 to 3 mpg went, but no more excess heat and 6th is smooth down to 50 to 55. Before it would only do down to 65 before it started bucking. The power down low is much better. No more clattering when I take off a little slow. The single cylinder running would activate at nearly every stop before. Now it seldom ever come on.

Yes, I have 4000 miles on my bike already. Bought it the week before Sturgis, rode it there and back and all over since.

Most of the riding 2up. Getting 40 MPG as an average. I'll admit that I haven't checked the mileage more than twice. Having too much fun just riding.

Now I'm itching to do a Stage 1. Gotta pay my Harley Tax!
