Garfield: The Movie

Just watched this and I have to say that I was expecting to hate it but it was good. Very funny in parts.

It is an aquired taste but I'm sure the majority of people will like it.

I LOVED the Garfield cartoon so I'm expecting to like the movie anyway. I'm glad to hear I probably won't be disappointed.

I didn't like the cartoon, but the film looks good. I'm going to see it on Sunday.

I watched it a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it. It's a good laugh, especially when the dog starts dancing!

One thing I noticed, the voice of Garfield in the cartoons was done by Lorenzo Music, who also did the voice of Peter Venkman a few years earlier in The Real Ghostbusters, who was played in the movie by Bill Murray who provides the voice of Garfield in the movie. So I guess he was the perfect choice from the start.

Though the rating so far on IMDB is a very very low 4.5 that's not a good sign.

I saw Shrek 2 today (as you do on a day off work ) and saw a trailer for this, and it looked quite good.

The only reason Bill is doing the voice is because unfortunalty Lorenzo music has died so they had to get Bill in to take his place!!!
