I am a New Yorker moving to Haiti for work for one year. One passion of mine has always been gardening and I would like to be able to plant my favorite herbs, salads and veggies such as cilantro and basil and tomatoes in Haiti. Could someone please tell me what kind of herbs and vegetable I could plant and Haiti? Also please give me some tips on how to keep them from dying out in the heat (most will probably be in containers.
