I've moved into a house which has a lovley garden, and two sides of beautifu, well established trees (of varying varieties, ferns, oaks etc) trouble is, where the trees are taking most of the moisture, the lawn is suffering significantly. Particularly the half which lays nearest the trees. Is there anything that i can do to replenish it? I don't want to returf if I can avoid it, because its a rental property and ultimately will be for someone elses benefit, but I would like to restore the garden if possible. Is it worth me doing an intensive feed or suchlike, or will all the trees just sap that up too? Is there anything I can do to replenish half the lawn thats now bare?
Gardening advice - any hope for this lawn?
