Not a new film, not especially well publicised at the time, and no doubt not been watched by as many people as it should, much like it's neighbour at the time, Sideways.

I watched it again last night, and it was brilliant, again, and I was wondering how many people this just passed by.

* hopes for less than he thinks.
 
Didn't pass me by! I thought it was brilliant, I really enjoyed watching it. Zach Braff has a good talent, I hope he goes far.

Sideways, I loved too - I want to go on a wine tasting holiday in California!
 
Very good film. Zach Braff is great, plus it's got Nat Portman in it, and thats always a good thing in my book ;)

To me, it kinda had a feeling of 'Being John Malcovich' about it only a bit less surreal.

both brilliant, brilliant films.

had to wait for garden state to come out on dvd tho', as it didn't come anywhere near the cinematic sticks that are the cotswolRAB.

sideways - a woody allen film for people who don't like woody allen! :D

Superb film. Braff is very talented, Scrubs is excellent but this movie showed a different side of him in both acting and as a director.

Of course, the lovely Natalie Portman helped too.
 
I thought Sideways was better, but Garden State was very good. I thought it was going to be one of those whimsical, sickly light comedies where not much happens, but it turned out to be a lot meatier than that. These kinRAB of films never get noticed much, though.
