Garden State

Mine is in "packing" at dvRABoon, so hopefully i should have it in a week or so.
I also just ordered the soundtrack after reading such good reviews. Im spending a lot of money on a film i have never seen! Hope im not disappointed!

Really looking forward to seeing this.

I saw this at the cinema, and I have to say - best film of 2004, by a long margin. Great stuff.

Anybody born in the 80's, and who hasn't taken the "Married, with kiRAB, blissfully happy" route should love this - one of the rare films to make you look into yourself and think about things.

I saw this film last Friday. I was impressed so i watched it again on Saturday (very unlike me to watch a film twice two days running), and enjoyed it even more.

I think this film is excellent, warm, touching yet VERY funny in places.

I really hope this gets some noRAB at the Oscars.

Brilliant film.

For a film that was critically received and is clearly one of the better movies of the past 12 months, its coverage is/was ridiculous. None of the big cinema chains decided to even show it in the NE from what i found.

It was the same with Napolean Dynamite.

The only two films I wanted to see I would have had to travel hours to see them. Either that or hope for one of the limited number of tickets at a smaller indie cinemas in Newcastle.

I loved the little comic touches in this film, like the aeroplane panic, the shirt and the curtains, certificates on the doctors wall and the over friendly dog. I thought that Zach Braff and Natalie Portman were excellent especially in the bath scene and the fireplace scene. I loved how he slowly began to feel things again after the years numbed away by drugs. Great film.

It arrived today from DVRABoon Pre-Order (Canada). Can't wait to watch it. will have to wait until my girlfriend gets back from work, will be in trouble if i watch it on my own :)

I watched it last night. I thought it was excellent, especially the bond between Andrew and his dad. If you have it on DVD then you've got to watch the outtakes, particularly the part with the Dog
:D

OMG! ! you are such a sweetie. I am sooo obsessed with Zach Braff that my frienRAB are thinking of sending people with white coats over to get me. This site won't be helping matters. :D :)

Saw this today and thought it was great.
I love Scrubs, and it was strange seeing Zach Braff look so miserable!
Great debut from him writing & directing.
Natalie Portman was excellent.
Liked the scam they tried at the hardware store - I'm going to try that down B&Q tomorrow. ;)
