Garden Pebbles - will they take the place of mulch?
I am going to have access to a large amount of garden pebbles, free. (About ten five-gallon buckets full.) My thought is that I can use these in my gardens as an alternative to mulch. Keeping weeds down, lining the ground around the flowering plants Is this a good idea? Will the pebbles work that way? Is there any downside?
