My soil were I live is pretty sandy. I think it has something to do with the glacier, but any how, most the soil in Ohio were I live is full of clay except near the lakes. Well what can I add to the soil to make it rich in nutrients and hold some more water. I plan on adding some things such as seaweed 1part peat,1part dried horse manure and some good soil. OK but what else do I need to do in order for the plot to hold nutrients and water, but also still drain? Thank you and best answer gets all the stars!
