My mother is coming to town this weekend and she wants to see NO. I live in MS and am only familiar w/French Quarter. I feel like my mother would prefer to see other parts of NO besides the french quarter but I'm not sure what to do/where to go. If we do a self-guided tour through the garden district, where do we begin, what route do we take, any good lunch/brunch options. Thanks.
