My 18 yrs old nephew got caught shoplifting at sears NJ (7 dollars) yesterday. He got a summon to appear in court in a week. I have no idea what will happen next and what should our next move be....

I talked to few lawyers today and noticed that larger the law firm is the more they scare you. I can not decide which lawyer to hire...

does anyone familiar with any of these lawyers in nj?

John Strong of JOhn Strong Law Offices
H. Scott Aalsberg of " The ShopLifters Attorney"

i couldnt find any reviews for these attorneys online. Please help.

I would recommend Garces & Grabler. Mr. Kessous reprsented my nephew in municipal court on similar charges and obtained a better result than I expected. She was found not guilty after a brief trial before a judge. He really found hard for my nephew's rights and would not give in without a fight.
