Okay so my car broke down & I took it to the garage I bought it from to fix it. It had ran out of warranty so they towed it away on Monday and said it would be fixed by Wednesday and that I would owe them £300.
They didn't fix the car by Wednesday, or by the weekend, but then the the following friday (1 week 2 days later) I get a call saying it's fixed, but I can't get it back till Monday. Monday has come (today) and still no car, they said they have had to go out on a breakdown and they will drop it off in the morning.
Now they have had my car for 2 weeks when it was only supposed to be 2 days. I pay £20/week insurance so you can imagine why I am so angry. Every time I phoned the garage they said it will be done tomorrow then when I ring up they would say sorry something came up, tomorrow again and again.
Should I still have to pay them the full £300 or would I be able to claim back the fees etc I have lost out on. Not only that I have struggled to get to work each morning.
