ialso had a ganglion cyst on my foot ,had it drained came back twice the size of it before.had it surgically removed then 19 yrs later came back. Mine is on the top of the footright on a tendon has wrapped itself around tendon and is also affecting the nerve. Am scheduled for surgery on april 10 mine lookes like a tunnel never saw or heard of one,verry painful standing all day .
 
I have one on my wrist. I've had it drained once but it just came back. When it flares up I wear a wrist brace which helps compress it and helps to minimize the pain when using my wrist, especially since it's on the right hand (and I'm right-handed).
