um aliasing is better on ps3, the filtering is better on ps3. The only thing the 360 has on ps3 is just better texture. And you can barely tell the difference.
 
A friend is a writer for games, and has credits over all three systems. Strictly talking between the two, XBOX 360 is easier to code for for the developers, so money and time can be saved by making an exclusive on 360 over PS3. He also says graphically they pretty much are shaping up at the same pace, but the roof has to hit the 360 soon, and the PS3 will pull away... but then hit it's roof, thanks to an inferior GPU. All in all, while the company he works for puts out on both, focus testing is all done on 360.
 
this thread is pathetic. the video shows absolutely nothing, except to bring out the fanboy fighting. you all need to shut the fuck up and play whatever fucking videogame you like to play, because no one takes your opinions seriously.
 
Looks ridiculously similar, save for a few parts.

I like how they threw the get-a-life building popping up in there though, as if that always happens on PS3 and 360 isn't capable of pop in.

Who gives a shit really, get it for whatever system you and all your friends have, enjoy game, profit.

360 = 32 reviews


And now that I've seen side by side the 360 version looks slightly better, I'm glad I got that version. The Ps3 version looks... fuzzy.
 
So lets say that for all intensive purposes the quality is equal on teh PS3 and the 360.


360 was cheaper and better online community.


PS3 was hyped as advanced... yet most games now show they are pretty damn similar.

Everyone hates the sixaxis controller now.

The PS3 fanboys will never admit defeat. WHich is fine, cause the 360 fanboys are too busy playing online
 
I had to really look hard to notice any difference in that side by side comparison. I sure wouldn't notice any differences when just playing it normally.
 
360 version = 720p with 2xMSAA
PS3 version = 640p with no AA

Objectively the 360 is better. Subjectively the filtering properties of the internal scaling on the PS3 might actually make the game look better as it eliminates the soft shadow dithering found on the 360 version.

Also the MSAA can screw up textures specifically writing on them as it's a post processing effect after the scene is rendered.

Subjectively the PS3 version might actually look better, but objectively the 360 is crunching polygons better and faster.
