Gamespot article comparing PS3 to 360 graphics on Multiplatform games

Very failed logic imo. As Stated before, if it came to anything in the PC world, if it was a Year later and Much more expensive, you would expect NOTHING LESS than Superior performance right out he gate. PS3 Fanboys need to stop and just accept that it is a Shitty product and should not have been released at this time and sure as fuck shouldn't cost $600

Oh and I don't own either of the 3 new consoles. But if I do buy a next gen, it will be the 360. But I don't even see that happening. I'll stick with my PS2 which was a major win

the simple fact is that ps3 currently doesn't live up to the hype they put out before release, and from a gaming standpoint it is not yet worth purchasing (for most people). it's a great way to get a blu-ray player for cheap if you want to get blu-ray discs, and in the future their games will be getting better and better.

currently the 360 has the strongest library of games and the best graphics on all multi-platform games.

the wii has something different, which is what a lot of people were starting to crave (and their sales certainly reflect this).


truth be told they all have strong points, and they all have weak points. i'm extremely happy with the one that i have, and hopefully everyone else is happy with the one that they have. what's the point in making it a competition if when we're all happy we all win?

That's a good point. I'm happy w/ my PS3 and my 360, and I'm sure I'd be happy w/ a Wii.
These comparisons are interesting but don't hold much weight in the long term scheme of things. I agree that the Playstation 3 is not currently living up to the hype, but then again, there was a LOT of hype and I don't think anything could ever live up to that much. In a year or so I think there will be a lot bigger gap as far as not only graphics but also AI with the edge going to the PS3. Time will tell. I for one will enjoy being format neutral, and enjoying the best of both worlds...
 
Being smart with ones money makes one a fanboy? Of course Sony is going to create hype. What company doesn't hype their console, or their upcoming movie release, or their album release, etc.? Whether they live up to it is still to be seen, but people are quick to jump on the "OMG PS3 sux!" bandwagon when it's only been out a little over 2 weeks.

360 has had product failures at launch, at the 1080p patch, and some other recently released patch. The fact they can't get their shit together a year later is sad. They should recall all their consoles and fix them and not place the burden on the consumer to have to split the repair bill and/or have to be without their purchase for a given amount of time.

Now back to playing my GameCube.

For the price of a PS3 you can buy the other two next gen systems. End of story. Fuck Sony, I'm not paying 600 dollars for a fucking console.

Just because YOU don't like it and OT doesn't like it doesn't mean that its not a good product.

The mustang, for instance, everyone hates. But it still sells over 100k a year, which is profitable.
 
Yea, I'm the one and only , I didn't even think that shit was still around haven't been out and shit in a looooong ass time.
