Gamespot article comparing PS3 to 360 graphics on Multiplatform games

You really are an idiot. It's going to beat out a system that's a yr old, but that still means shit, and will mean SHIT until it catches up on the #of systems the 360 has sold period.
 
Spec to Spec the PS3 is only a little bit better than the 360. Also, in theory with twice the video memory, the 360 should have sharper textures.

In any way, none of those games appeal to me, and I personally don't care. I am buying a 360 cause I love Live!

Though in NFS:C, I think the PS3 looks a lot better.
 
I'm not a "Fanboy" of anyone. I own a PS2, have never owned a Xbox, and last Nintendo product I bought was the N64. But then again, I have common sense, and have been on computers for 18 years and in the IT industry professionally for over 10 years. Like I said before, if it was practically any other industry(except motor vehicle) People would EXPECT a better performing product a year after the release of a direct competitors machine. I Deal with multiple divisions of Sony almost everyday, and still love my PS2, but they have fucked up HUGE with the PS3 and it actually Saddens me. I would NEVER consider the Wii honestly and IF I buy a next gen console it will without a doubt be the 360.
 
X 100 billion. thats the way i see it, if you dont like a ps3, then dont play it, dont cry about its price, just go play YOUR favorite gaming system and leave it at that. i happen to love my 360 and my ps3, both are awesome systems and will have awesome games soon enough on both of them.

What are these "fuck" ups? Would it forever stop you from buying the thing? I ask this because the systems been out for less than a month and there is always room for corrections. I mean it isn't like the 360 was without flaws or bad product decisions upon launch.
 
1. Cell Processor, They should have also released this in a product that they didn't put so much stock into.Unproven technology, not able to meet demands cause of manufacturing costs and procedures. The PS3 completely failing, which is a possibility, would be a HUGE financial and image loss to the company.

2. Blu-ray. Opting for a drive that costs SIGNIFICANTLY more to manufacture than HD-DVD and making this one of the biggest selling Points was asinine. Instead of making the PS3 with a Blu-ray, they should have made it an expansion at a MUCH lower cost so that they could get their units out first and in a good market share. The Blu-ray is crippling the PS3 because of how much it has driven up the cost. Not to mention that 90%+ of home owners are not on HDTV's which the Blu-ray is meant for. Microsoft put the heat on them and they and to rush a system out, which they had already lost face due to delays. Anyone buying these first models are crazy, I anticipate HUGE amounts of issues reported wthin the next couple of months. but then again I don't go for 1st gen of anything usually

3. No HDMI cables out of the box. It was retarded for them to go blu-ray right off the bat but to leave force those 5-10%'rs that just MIGHT buy the console to dish out more for HDMI cables is fucking special ed.

4. Boasting about production units and not delivering. Yes IBM is in part to blame, but don't claim you'll ship 1,000,000 by year end when you could barely ship 200k. BUt then again maybe this is their plan. TO the normal person, read IDIOT. They might see this as "Oh shit, this machine is so awesome they can't make enough of them, I have to get one and I'll pay whatever price" You can look at eBay for an example of this

5. Poor release titles, that don't even Take advantage of Blu-ray. Need I say more?

6. Just re-visits other points. Price Point. Idiotic.


Will this keep me from ever buying one? No. Would I buy one within the Next year or even 2? Highly Unlikely. Which the first year makes or brakes MANY products. It depends on the titles that come out, and the Price that it eventually drops to. I love my PS2 and it was a smash hit, but then again, it was much more thought out and planned for.
 
Not PS3 sackriding, but I'm willing to bet that the game developers designed all the above mentioned games for the 360 and cheaply/lazily ported them to the PS3.
 
ummm why say some stupid shit like this.....every system will do amazing in the next year to come. If you have to narrow you mind to one system than your obviously not that smart or a dumbass 10 year old. Every one said this about the ps2 you know
