what sucks about it? is it just the wait time?

i just signed up and made a queue with PSP / GC / Wii games, and i threw on some psp movies that i would no-way-in-hell purchase under any other circumstances.
 
also, what sucked about netflix? my sister had it. i played with my sister's account...the movies came fast, ripped nicely, etc

well i've heard that it's different depending on how close you are to distribution centers. i'm going to try out the free trial and see how it goes.

are there other options?
 
me and three other friends all had it (we are about 30 miles from each other, so different distribution centers)

the problem is that if you got a movie, ripped it and sent it back that day, netflix would delay it a couple of days. so that you could really only get about 10-12 movies a month. the quicker you sent them back, the more they would delay it
 
word, but if you're getting 10 movies a month for $20 or whatever the hell the price is, that snot a hugely bad deal.

i'm not the kind of dude who's gonna need LIGHTNING QUICK turnover of games.

if thats the only problem, i'm still gonna try it out
 
netflix was awesome, for about 3 months...

went from 2 business days to 3... to a week.

new accounts get presidence to get you hooked, then you get throttled and pushed to the end of the queue. cancelled, and was happy.
 
I fucking hate gamefly. I did the $9.99/mo startup plan. I ordered my first game on the 1st (no joke). Played it for 5 days, Sent it back on 6th, and it took 9 fucking days for it to come back as received. They said they shipped the next game out. It hasnt arrived yet. Im gunna cancel the fucking service before they charge my credit card $20. Fucking assholes.
 
gamefly's really weird. a buddy who lives two blocks from me had really shitty return times, but i rarely have any problems. i shipped two games back this past thursday, they got them friday, shipped my next two games the same day, and they were in my mailbox on saturday
