Gamecube-Gameboy link?

Well, I have been trying to trade between my Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness and Pokemon GBA games. So far, I have tried Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, and LeafGreen, and none of them will trade. They get as far to show the XD logo on my GBA, but then the link will fail. I have saved in Pokemon Center, beaten the Elite Four, and gotten the National Dex in all of them. XD is also beaten, and I have the link cable switch on GC, so I'm doing everything right, however I still cant trade. Oh yeah, I have used my GBA Action Replay on the games, if that helps.
 
Personally, I've only used the link for Animal Crossing.

Are you sure that the games you listed are supported? On N64, I imported monsters from Red and Yellow, and possibly Gold versions.. but I can't really help there. :\ Hopefully someone else will have a more informed answer.
