I am currently driving a car with about 180,000 miles. It has been starting fine this winter,but it has a rust hole the size of a quarter starting and the sway links are broken. My dad says I should buy a better car and not put any more money into this one. Should I be able to find a significantly better car around $2500 or should I continue keeping up with my current car and hope that it lasts for a couple more years?
Gamble on my old car or pay less toward my college loans?
