I'm really broke. It reallys sucks. I have to borrow money for Costa Rica, which i already knew about, so thats fine...but I didn't expect to have my damn bank account bounce and in the end cost me 70 bucks. I had money in there, but I forgot about the tax money that I had to pay. I called my grandma panicking and had to borrow 125 bucks from her to cover any charges that could have been made after the account went beyond dry. So now I have to borrow money from Ryan, to give to my grandma...and then pay Ryan back. Borrowing from him is fine though because I always pay him back and he gives me pleanty of time to pay him. My grandma needs the money because she doesn't work.
But here I am ready to leave in 8 days. I was so excited today and now I'm going to feel like crap until everyone is payed back. My stupid boss from my tv station apparently forgot to send us our checks. (he lives in Colorado) So now I might have to go until the end of this week with almost no money. The money from waiting tables tonight has to feed right into Ryans pocket.
I know this is life, and shit like this will happen to me forever...but I couldn't hold it in anymore. It was making me crazy and I simply had to get it out. I just wish that my boss had payed me. If he did I wouldn't have run into this problem at all! /me sighs.
 
that really sucks, jane. i know how it feels. i wish i could help. can you ask your boss to wire you your pay? it shouldn't cost him much to send it, and he could win a million bucks if he uses western union.
 
I know where your at right now jane, I am in the same boat right now, only a little worse. I have a big court fine to pay that I can't afford right now, and I just had to fix my jeep. It will work out though, you will pay off everyone and come out of it a little better off.

And if your boss wires you the money, remember he owes you half if he hits that million.

Isn't it funny how we can live on next to nothing ourselves, but when we owe money to others, it's like a huge monkey on our back, gibbering and slobbering all over our necks.


Take a deep breath, give yourself a hug, and know that everything will work out.

I guess that the faxed pay checks never made it to my boss! ahhhh! so he is probably going ship them over night. yaaaaay! It was a stressfull day for sure, but it's almost all better! Now i just need to sit back and relax for a while. thanks for the hugs and advice :D
 
You have to pay your boyfriend back? What about sexual favors, don't they count for anything anymore? One of the ladies I work with right now had her husband buy her an $80k car and she's "paying" him back. Her words, not mine.

Seriously though, sorry to hear about that. It sucks when it happens, especially if you don't expect it. I can start panhandling around work if you wanted, I don't know these people and so they should pity me in some regard. I could probably weasel $20 out of them somehow.
