The problem basically started about a week ago where i noticed that i had this stuck feeling in my throat after a sip of water. Its the feeling that makes you wanna swallow twice. The more i swallowed the more intense it became until i started gagging like crazy. It was like something was stuck inside my throat like mucas but my voice was fine and no matter how much i tried to cough it out nothing came out. It usually goes away after 30mins but sometimes it can last for hours. Its been hell trying to sleep so i have avoided any liquid 1 hour prior to sleeping. I have noticed that it might be air trapped inside my throat but i dont know how thats possible. It's basically like wanting to burp but no matter what you do it just won't come out. On the occasion that i do manage to burp i get an immediate relief but it usually comes back right away.

I remembered that i had this horrible mucas stuck in my throat a couple days ago and instead of coughing it out i tried to swallow it because i was in an important meeting. I've noticed that whenever i try to hack it out i feel it there. Its definitely the feeling of mucas but i just can't get it out. It feels like its lodged inside. I don't even know if thats the reason but its all i've got. I'm going to go see my docter next week but it would be really nice if someone who has had something similar happen to them respond. Like any good ways to clear mucas out of your system? I've never been really good at hacking it out. Used to be jealous that my friends could get that stuff from their nose to their mouth and 20 ft ahead of them.

Oh and eating solid food is perfectly fine, in fact it helps relieve this feeling. Sometimes i will finish half the meal and gulp down tons of water so i wont get too thirsty and finish the rest of the meal and i usually feel fine. Its only when i drink any kind of liquid by itself.
