G2 Touch stuck at gmail account activation after wrong patteren tries!

Hello All,
I have Tmobile G2 touch.....Just unlocked my phone via operator code....One of my friend was playing with my phone...He tries some wrong patterens to my phone and phone get blocked....Now its asking for gmail account....I have gmail account but unfortunately i don't know how to connect to internet via gprs as phone not giving any option to enter my gprs setting....
So can anyone tell me is there any way to bypass it or enter gprs settings to connect it to internet to activate it....?????

Now do this.

Do hard reset

Activate using Gmail account

Thanks for your answer and time brother....But my question is still same....How to connect phone to internet to sign into gmail account....????
 
as i mentioned earlier, you need a sim with Edge connection.

First hard reset, then put edge enabled sim. make APN>Sign in>Gmail.

or learn more about android activation.
 
Thanks i have completed hard reset and i have inserted an edge enabled sim....But from which button i can manually enter my edge settings.....as phone not giving any menu?????
I have activated lots of G1's without any prolem....But this G2 driving me crazy.....

bro press menu key u will get a Menu select new APN and that's it u have any problem contact me.

Nothing happens when i press menu button....Even i tried to hold this button for a while but same....
 
OK thanks friends for your suggestions....I was stuck on that phone....Now i updated the rom and after that reset by this method.......
HTC Hero

1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the HOME and BACKand then briefly press the END CALL/POWER button. The reset process will start after a few seconds.
2. Wait for the phone to finish the reset process and then press MENU.

Tip : If your phone hangs or freezes, remove the battery then wait for a few seconds, and then re-install it. After re-installing the battery, turn on the phone.
