G1 freezes a few days after CyanogenMod

I've followed this completely
http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Full_Update_Guide_-_G1/Dream_Firmware_to_CyanogenMod#Rooting_the_phone

And this is now the second time that it's frozen at the G1 screen, the first time was after a few days, this time it's been about a week and a half. When it does this it won't go to the recovery screen, but I can get to bootloader screen to flash DREAIMG.nbh.

Could there be something I'm doing wrong here? Or is it just something that could, or is going to, keep happening?

Be careful with the terminology, I'm not exactly good at this stuff

Welcome to the AC Forums. There are lots of people who will jump on this and help you, and this reply will give the thread a nudge to the top of the list again. Alas, I'm from the "stick with stock" clan.

It sounds odd that your phone works for a while then doesn't though.

I suspect that a wipe, reflash, or fix-permissions is what you need to do. Anyone help?

Thanks for the welcome!

I've already wiped and reflashed again, and I'm back to 4.2.14.1, though I see 4.2.15.1 is out already, I may just have to try that instead and see if it still happens.

It's a very early G1 if that makes a difference, bought it a month or so after release.

The hardware hasn't changed on the G1 since release. Maybe try 4.2.15.1. Locking up at the G1 screen isn't normal, even with custom firmwares.

Did this occur before you rooted?
