G1 Firmware update 1.6 DMD64

Does anyone have a manual update link for this yet? I cannot find one... i know its minor, but hell its SOMETHING at least

Haven't seen anyone post an update.zip for this yet, but this is the radio img that comes with DMD64. I've used it on both 32B and G1 running latest Cyanogen.
This has been pulled from the official update DMD64 from Lucid REMs site. All I have done is pull the radio image from that.

My question is since im not rooted and using official everything do i just click on the "dmd64" from lucid rem's site and use that? or do i need to do more?
 
I cant get this to work, i renamed it update.zip (tried with and without the .zip)... after it tries to verify the update it says error status 7 installation failed among other things above that... any ideas?
 
Getting ready to give it a try, the post on xda says it has something to do with Amon RA recovery. If so I'll put Cyan recovery back on and try with it.
 
i tried using JUST the radio update and none of the links listed would let me even download it.... and the DMD64 from lucens site is not installing after renaming it to update.zip .... i am NOT rooted
 
Not rooted might be the reason. Mine went into a bootloop at the android screen, let it stay about 10 minutes and did a battery pull. Restarted and I have the new radio and my phone still works.
 
Hmmm, well its supposed to be the official update... and i have been doing manual firmware updates to my G1 since RC29... so i dunno what the deal is

Well that blows! ... i could have sworn one of those links in this post said stuff about the G1 ... i think the link that i posted near the top of the post... i don't want to wait for tmobile to get around to hopefully updating me, i must have bad luck because i used to wait for updates and wouldn't receive them via OTA ... so i just started manually updating, like i would like 2 do now.... someone PLEASE find this update, come on guys!
