G1 and iPod Touch - Wireless Tether?

1) I have a rooted G1.
2) I have an iPod Touch.

Question: Is it possible to use my G1's Internet connection as a wi-fi signal in sense so my iPod Touch can get a wireless Internet signal from the G1?

i do this often. you need the wifi tether app of course.

Which app though? The ones that I find require a PC.
