Future Watch - N-GAGE

N-Gage Future Watch... FAQ # 3 and I quote:

"Q #3. Will there be a dedicated gaming device as part of the range of N-gage ready mobile?

Answer: As we have not yet announced the full range of N-Gage compatible devices, we cannot spcifically address the question of a dedicated gaming device. However all of our N-gage ready mobiles will be capable of playing next generation N-Gage games.

... there is hope...

The fishing game is pure insanity!!! The video and Audio are just incredible. I can not wait until these games are available for phone like the N95...and future N-gage of course!!

I agree with you .... amazing is the right word ........... I own a N gage and will get a new gaming phone as soon as it comes out

i hope E61 will be N-gage game compatible...

imagine:
space=fire
w=forward
s=back
a=left
d=right
r=pistol
t=canon
y=plasma laser with dual fire...

and so forth

;8446408']unfortunately, owning both a psp and ds, the games dont exactly blow me out of the water... it would be neat to download those games on my n73, but they arent any different then games available now arent they? the only game that looks nice is the 3d fighting game, although its just screenshots... the ngage is pretty much dead imo, it had a nice run and on paper, it was one hell of a gaming/multimedia device at the time

hmm, well yea makes good sense too... that will make E70 very attractive...

you mean the big wide screen inside, i.e. interior... well, from what i read of the E90, you can open the apps from the small screen outside and then opening it up will move the open app inside, hence could be a verry verry possible... S60 3rd has the capability to adapt on any screen size....

;8448581']asphalt is a pretty nice looking ngage game, and there are a few others that were pretty good, that first person shooter was decent as well

audios not that hard, instead of using midi's they can just throw some mp3s of ambient/nature sounds in there, not that difficult to do... just loop that 5 second mp3 track over and over

and from what i can see, graphics are somewhat still, pre-rendered from the looks of it, only thing that moves is your fishing rod and water... i guess its light years ahead of previous ngage games but its still gba quality unfortunately... but then, these games arent exactly in competition with the psps and ds lites of the world so its all good... it's target audience arent exactly hardcore gamers, just ppl who own s60 devices already...

The key to the N-Gage relaunch is the connectivity. AFAIK, no other system uses GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSDPA, only WiFi. Therefore, the N-Gage will be more connected, and you can download free trials right there on the device, as well as pay for and instantly begin using the full-on game. Also with the higher speeds, multiplayer gaming will be possible, both regular games like Tiger Woods or whatever, but also I could easily see a World Of Worldcraft Mobile, or something very similar. There's no limit to this stuff.

Yeah you may can download demos on the PSP or DS via WiFi, but let's face it, WiFi's not always there, not like cellular data is, anyways. I had the N80 and gave it up because frankly the only place I had WiFi is at my house.

I for one am looking forward to the N-Gage rebirth, but then again, I don't own any other gaming systems other than the venerable PS2 and a Gamecube I recently won at the Work Christmas Party.
