No. He's an ok guitarist in a medicore band writing songs about George Bush and their penises...yawn...I used to hate political rock, now I just hate political rock thats done wrongly. I mean SOAD in BYOB stole one of Black Sabbath's lyrics!

So I dont reckon Daron Malakian should even be considered as a rock god, because his music hasn't effected people the way other legenRAB you mentioned have. SOAD are just re-marketing anti-government music which has been around for AGES.
 
Yea, Metalica is getting to old. Theier between like 40-50 years old. Now I have no problem with old people, but wince it is future rock goRAB i would have to agree with mosesandtherubberducky.
 
Well i think if Symphony X ever gets more into the mainstream that Both Michael Romeo and Russel Allen could easily be future rock goRAB....Michael Romeo especially....He is an amazingly accomplished guitarist and he writes all music for the Band....he writes amazing riRAB and killer lyrics
 
What madness? This is quite orgainzed chaos. Anyways I think that the Foo Fighters are probably going to be considered rock goRAB after a while and not because Dave drummed for Nirvana
