Future? College? Not smart enough?

Hey, I was just wondering if there is any valedictorians/people who graduated in the top 10 out there. What kind of grades did you get? (like 100, 99, 98..ect) because I know all A's. And what colleges did you go off to do?

I just feel kind of lost right now. I feel like Im never going to get into the colleges I want because I am not a leader. I am shy and quiet and no ivy would ever accept me even if I am the valedictorian. I am in many clubs, but I would never run for class president because, well, short and simple it is a popularity contest.

I really want to go to Columbia, Yale, or NYU. Which I know is not going to happen since I am not a leader, and thats the only type of people they take. Only the best of the best.

So I feel like what am I going to do if I don't get into ANY good colleges? I guess go to a local college, and just IDK. I am going to have a major breakdown when it comes to this because my whole future will be ruined.

Sorry for the rant haha, just wondering what kind of grades you got if you were in the top 10 in high school, and what colleges you got into.

I could switch high schools and go to a more competitive high school, but then Im afraid I would be behind them and wouldn't have a clear shot at valedictorian/salutatorian like I do at my current school.

Don't say you're not smart enough. there are a LOt of good colleges that aren't ivies. not getting into an ivy is not the end of the world, seriously. Even if you did get into Yale, NYU, Columbia, you wouldn't be comfortable there at all if you're quiet and shy. I say you try some less fancy (but almost equally as good) universities and you'll be okay
