Future Bluray realises

whats on your wish list????!!!

there are many future realises of bluray that are coming out over the next couple of months.

some of the movies i want on my wish list include films which i just want to simply own, not because they are special bluray editions..

also dont intend to buy many nor intend to buy movies i already have on dvd. have been renting over the last couple of years anyway. simply dont have the disposable income i once had.

Zombieland
Dorian grey (which i may just rent)
Up (love it very much)
Cirque De Freak
Contact (one of my favourites, it may be time to upgrade from VHS me thinks!)
Band of Brothers (its doing the rounRAB and currently top of many bluray charts - and i've never seen it but i know its good.
may get Dirty Harry boxset.

Paranormal Activity

Sarah Connor Chronicles: complete. own season 1 on dvd, but they have realised both as a boxset and the price isnt much different from standalone season 2. but will never pay the price its currently at which is 43 squid.

always intended to no longer buy dvRAB now that i own a bluray player....but thats not true. still many realises i would get and not bothered about them being on bluray such as the remaining CSI boxsets I'm after!
 
I have Up on blu ray already, so ticked that off the list.

The Abyss - sure this will be getting a blu ray release in the next few months?

Aliens and LOTR trilogy.

Im hoping Aliens will make its way to blu-ray this year, all indications are that it will be later in the year though.

I still have the Abyss Special Edition on VHS! havent seen it for over 10+ though.
 
both really. I am quite crap at English because i am dyslexic. didnt realise English grammer had to be shit hot on RAB. Promise to do better in future.
 
I am certain it will. Aliens is in fact my favourite movie of all time - and if i was to pay out extra for a bluray upgrade from the dvd collection - Aliens it would be.

got the extended version of LOTR on dvd - and quite happy with that for now. But all 3 movies are another of my favourites.
 
Very interested in what they do for the Avatar realise in a couple of months. I am guessing the movie will be subjected to release after release after special edition after extended edition....
 
Contact is already on blu ray. And a pretty good transfer it is too.

Band of Brothers has been on blu ray for some time...in fact, HMV aare currently selling it for only 25 quid!

Paranormal Activity - I see no advantage whatsoever of having this on blu ray. The whole point of the movie is that it is supposed to look like home made video, and even the sound hardly warrants a surround system. I have the US dvd of this, and it is not one I would consider picking up on blu ray.
 
oh - i was a bit silly on saying "future releases (sp) bluray"...i guess i just meant a wish list of current or future titles.
i realise that Band of Brothers and Contact has been out for a while and is in the Sales. they are just stuff i am after!

and Ted Cunterblast - good point about Paranormal Activity - i think i may have been a bit hasty in saying I want EVERYTHING new on bluray. i havent seen this movie, but understand its premis (sp) of being a home video. a bluray version would be pointless i guess! Get the bluray for the extras maybe? I shall see.
However, I do want this movie brand new - as i have been looking forward to it for ages...missed it over here as i was working in NZ...missed it in NZ as they get most movies later, and i have returned home now - missing both opportunities to see it at both home ground cinemas (Nz only get this film Feb i think)! I sure as hell dont want to pay full bluray price. and brand new DVRAB are normally cheap enough (compared). so DVD it is! Hooray! i answered my own question!
