Then turn the crank and snap the plank and boot the ball right down the chute, now watch it go and hit the bowl and knock the ball in the rub-a dub tub and hit the man into the fan, the trap is set, here comes the net!
(wow, all that from memory)

Just what this show needs, another Farnsworth.

Now that he's dead, we can say good things about him.

Funny episode, but I hope they're not going to make references to everything that's been popular while they were canceled.

Probably the first episode of the season that I didn't really like. There just weren't really many laughs. Doomsday machine looked kind of cool, though.

This episode wasn't as good as the last one. The only funny parts were before the first commercial break. Fry's armpit concerto was just...ugh.

Though I will admit Leonardo da Vinci being an alien is pretty original.

I really liked this one. It didn't feel too dated, preachy, or crude like the last few episodes. It felt like old-fashioned smart Futurama nerd humor, something they do best.

This episode was OK. I liked parts of it, but the whole Fry stupidity thing was a bit excessive.

The giant octopus part was great though.

I would rate this episode 6/10.

I thought it was funny...Even though Da Vinci Code (and Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?) parodies have been done to death, they still got some humor out of it...

My favorite lines...

Farnsworth (on Fry and his stupidity) : I'll be a monkey's uncle if I'm that monkey's nephew!!!!
******
another great Farnsworth line..."Just because I'm stupider than they are, they think they're smarter than me!!!!"
*****
I also loved the running gag where Fry kept mistaking Leonardo Da Vinci for Leonardo Di Caprio....right after Fry does it the first time,Farnsworth punches Fry in the stomach, only to hurt his hand....

Fry: I guess eating all those rocks wasn't as stupid as you said it was...

This was a good episode. Not as funny as previous episodes from this season so far, but it had a more focused story. A couple nice callbacks to previous episodes though. Double finglonger FTW!

Also, when the episoded opened with the Millionaire segment, I thought they were going to do "Who's Dying To Be A Millionaire". That was a gameshow hosted by Morbo in the Futurama comic books. Its like the normal Millionaire show, but if you answer a question wrong.... take a guess lol.

I liked this episode! Very funny, great jokes, it's nice to see Fry and the Professor actually talk to one another as opposed to just setting each other up for punchlines, and the way the ep resolved itself was brilliant. It had the kind of circular plotting I really like - everything resolved in a clever way at the end by calling back to earlier themes in the story. Plus the moment with Fry and the Prof as they return to earth was really touching. Fry actually became even more lovable in this ep, which is saying something. I loved it when he casually asked Leela if she wanted to join the Mile Deep Club and then freaked out when she actually agreed. Then the Prof butted in and Fry got ticked. That was golden.

I did NOT like last week's ep at all; too preachy and heavy-handed. But this ep helped make up for that. This was a stellar episode. 10/10.

I'm among those who thought this episode was just "meh". Not too bad, but not too good either. I didn't like everyone treating Fry like dirt.

Much better than I thought it would be. A lot of Futurama jokes rely on unpredictability, and doing The DaVinci Episode seemed mighty predictable...but no, they repackaged this leftover well.

I guess now that every animated adult show has done one, the question is: which DaVinci Episode is your favorite? My rankings go:

1. South Park
2. American Dad
3. Futurama
4. Everything else I can't remember

Will we have to wait for the DVDs to see the old cartoon clips in each opening? This feels like something CC is doing to stuff in one more ad.

I liked it! It's the closest to the original Futurama I've seen so far, which makes me happy :) Although one thing about it bugged me - Fry and Leela are supposed to be a lot closer/almost a couple now. So why didn't Leela notice or care that Fry have been in the hospital for two weeks?

For that matter, why didn't Leela or Bender even try to look for Fry and Farnsworth during the long period of time they were missing due to them travelling to and from Da Vinci's home planet?
