A new episode of Futurama premieres tonight at 10pm E/P on Comedy Central! This week: :v:

CASH BONE!!

"The Magma P.I. is 10,000 degrees Selleck!"

I kan has intelijint conversayshin?

Oh cwap.

OT: ANOTHER Jackass movie? How old are they all now?

Be very very quiet. I'm petting puddies. Huhuhuhuhuhuhuh.

Cash Bone was so incredibly stupid that it was hilarious.

Now that Nibbler has dropped the guise of being just a blabbering, cute animal it's nice that they can use him in different ways. Nibber and Amy is a combo I wasn't expecting. And it definitely seems like Kiff is a lot less of a wuss after "Proposition Infinity".

But what the hell? Fry and Leela were definitely dating last week, and this week she's going on about how she doesn't have a man. Are the writers having fun jerking everyone's chain here?

Amy and Nibbler are "tewwible thweats" that must be spayed and neutered "wespectively".

That is one cute, but evil, cat.

Just now, it summoned the mothership with the Meow Mix song

It's a McDonald's hamburger with lettuce and tomato in which the box that it came in had the patty kept on one side and the lettuce and tomato kept on the other side, to "keep the hot side hot and the cool side cool".

I didn't like this episode at all. The cat jokes were lame. The evil kitties' world domination plot was lame. Leela suddenly not having a man was lame. Amy being smart was probably the best part of it, because at least it was different, instead of lame.

Overall, I don't know how I feel about this new season of Futurama. It's not quite as uneven as the first go-round, although, after all, we've only gotten a few episodes so far. There may be more uneven-ness to come. My patience is beginning to wear a little thin, though. One more episode like this and I'll probably start tuning out.

I'm a cat person, so I liked this one. I didn't see the last five minutes, though I'm sure it will be rerun. I saw the previous episode three times in two days.

(BTW I saw that Jackass commercial as well. Where did that come from?)

"That Darn Katz!" was basically a retread of "The Day the Earth Stood Stoopid", only with evil house cats substituing for giant brains. This wasn't as good as last week's episode, but how the writers are experimenting with different character combinations (Bender and Hermes, Fry and Farnsworth, Amy and Nibbler) is interesting, but I hope that we'll still get a couple of Fry, Leela and Bender Planet Express mission episodes also.

Another Jackass movie? Wow. Does Johnny Knoxville need the money that badly?
