Futurama - "Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences" - Talkback [8/26]

While last week's episode was a hard act to follow, this episode did a pretty good job in its attempt to. The Comic Con scene was great, with the cameo of Matt Groening obviously the highlight of the episode. To be honest, I was suprised that Maurice LaMarche hadn't been asked to do his Orson Wells impression early on in the series, considering he did it for over ten years in 'Animaniacs' and 'Pinky and the Brain'. Overall, the episode had a similar problem to what many of the DTVs had, which was it seemed to jump from one act to another with really loose ties.

Plus on the Critic and the Simpsons. Glad to hear him finally doing it on Futurama, maybe they were just waiting for a good story.

I loved this episode, particularly the Comic Con bits, but I liked how Fry's comic seemed to be a commentary on the evolution of superheroes in comic books.
