i like how bender destroyed the earth the same way it happened in the 1st episode, i thought that was smart.

so thats how bush won the election.

I just watched "Bender's Big Score",and I enjoyed it alot.....I liked seeing all the characters again, though I would've liked to have seen more of Kif and Zapp Brannigan, and I thought it was really funny....

I loved seeing all the references to earlier episodes,as well as the new version of the intro {Hopefully, they'll keep it when Comedy Central airs the "episode" versions of the movie}...Also liked the sub-plot with Leela and her new love-interest,Lars,though I felt a bit sorry for Fry....This is why I love Futurama so much....The show's very funny, but at the same time, you come to really care about the characters/want them to be happy....

My only minor complaint was that I figured out where the sub-plot was going almost immediately, but still enjoyed seeing it....

Now, THIS is how you do a revival of a cancelled cartoon! The plot was full of twists (sadly, I accidentally spoiled myself on one of the big ones thanks to a thoughtless poster on another message board), the gags were intelligent, the callbacks to previous episodes weren't gratuitous like those on a certain other Fox series with a title that begins with F, the animation and voicework were up to their usual standard. The songs weren't as great as they were in the past, but nothing's perfect.

This sucks for me. I had the night shift today and Wal-Mart was the only place open and they didn't get it in. Luckly, I have tomorrow off so I will swing by Best Buy to pick it up.

I have to give this movie the best score possible on that poll because it was just about perfect as far as Futurama goes (and that's saying something).

The subplot was rather obvious though...

So many throw backs to many previous episodes of note and a whole lot of "explain what happened" moments that made it very rich in continuity and I loved that most of all.

Futurama is back baby and those who enjoy the series will not be dissapointed with this movie. Those who haven't seen the series may not care for the movie outside of the general humor (which is pretty darn good like any Futurama episode).

And I can't wait for the next one. :anime:

I just loved what happened to the Box Network executives at the beginning of the film and the Cartman and John Stewart cameo. Do have to agree that the throwbacks were awesome as well.

Yeah, I caught that. I picked this up on Tuesday and just watched. It was absolutely perfect. I love time travel in Futurama, and this new movie is no exception. I guessed the subplot about half-way through, but that's fine, since it was still very well crafted. Just great. Definitely check it out.

This movie kind of gives 'Jurassic Bark' a somewhat happier ending, but only slightly. It's still sad how he ended up trapped in the molten rock.

I need to watch it again to catch all the jokes I missed.

That was fantastic. I watched it once without commentary and then with and enjoyed every minute. It was all over the place, yet managed to feel very consistent. The plot, humor and characters were all dead on classic Futurama. I can't wait to see the other movies!

Futurama is back!

Not bad at all. I liked the story and it actually gave out a message regarding all the scams in the internet. It,like the Simpsons movie, just felt like 3 or 4 episodes of the series combined.I really want to see one of these comedy series make a movie in the style that South Park did.I give this movie 3.5 stars.

The movie was well-plotted, with all sorts of happenings in various points of time, although at times it got a little confusing, particularly the Fry 1999 assassination attempt sequence. And it's one of those movies which you spot various things in the background that you didn't notice before if you watch it a second time.

Humor-wise, I didn't laugh quite as much as your average TV episode, but it was still full of some good jokes and appropriately-placed throwbacks to many moments in the series.

, I guess that's why I missed it. I kept thinking they were saying "Morbo", like Morbo was promoting a powder made of humans. Now it's even more hilarious.

What was most confusing was that the tattoo was shaped like Bender. Whoever put it there, what reason would they have for shaping it like Bender? We never found out....
