Hi i'm trying to find the onewho was using Dr rosenblum and Dr phair on surgery wondering how things went?

HELLO MY FRIEND : Dr Phair did take bone from my hip {autograft} and he also used bone from my back while doing the lamenectomy + bone bank ... I had a very large surgery 8 1/2 hours long , all done by Dr Phair... I can't say enough about him , he's very good at what he does..

As far as your situation , i really don't no what or who will be in the O R when you have your surgery.. If Dr Rosenblum is doing your surgery , i'll probally assume that he will be the only sergent in the room.. You need to ask these questions to the doctors when you go in for your apt. They will be more than happy to answer them for you...

GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS BILLY

22 : Hey i had surgery on 2.20.08 by doctor phair.. i had a 2 level posterior fusion , l4/l5 , l5/s1 2 roRAB and 6 screws - my surgery was long 8 1/2 hrs !!!!!! He explained that my back was way worse than the tests showed , he pretty much reworked my whole lower lurabar spine..

I think doctor Phair is wounderfull , when i awoke in the recovery room he was right there and explained what he did , and why surgery was so long.. I was in Riverview hosp. in RedBank for 5 days , i saw him 3 out of 5 days.. Last friday i had an apt. to see him in his office - - they took x-rays and i got to see what my spine looks like now WOW , Lots of metal.. H e went over every detail with me , and i really love him HE IS A WOUNDERFULL DOCTOR......

As for me I'm hurting because of surgical pain , you really need to take it E Z and follow his instructions.. WALK WALK WALK - - I am taking 2 15 minute walks a day{with walker} , just listen to your back - you will no when your over doing it.... It was funny i saw Dr.Rosenblum in the O.R just before they rolled me in , he insisted that i was in good hanRAB and lucky to have such a good doctor..

HOPE i was any help to you , my answer is YES !!!! Dr.Phair is GREAT and so is Rosenblum they both have performed surgeries on me...
billy boy

Hi Bill, hope you feel better, you strong will fella,I give you much credit going through it all.I'm just wondering if I went into surgery under Dr Rosenblum's first diagnosis and if I needed to be fused who would do it if Dr phair not in with him,if he end up doing it himself.I guess you had bone graft too?I know you need rest so no hurry to reply

so you had just one level?guess that be enough to handle.able to go bathroom okay?meRAB helping to keep you comfy?Glad things going good for you.

Hi,

I saw both Dr. Phair and Rosenrablum but was operated on by Dr. R. Dr. Phair reminded me of my college professors either chemistry or whatever. He was so serious. and I think same with Dr. R.
I was as far as I know I was a successful experiment rat with Dr. Rosenblum. He did MicroD on me. Dr. Rosenblum is all business but I think he does it well.
Even the consult with him was short and simple. I ask him a few pre-surgery questions and he answered just the way I want to hear. I just show up for surgery at Riverview and everything went ok as I planned(worked out for me).

I do remeraber he asked me that what did Dr. Phair told me to do. I told him Dr. P told me to go for the surgery but I wasn't sure so I go for his second opinion which is himself.

My Progress.
Can't say 100% but it is as close to 100. I had MicroD and can say I am pain-free up to a point 18 months (Oct 2006) and counting. I do however experience some discomfort now and then when I do laundry when carrying 3-4 heavy loaRAB of clothing and feel a little discomfort in the incision site. Other than that it's alnmost non-existence but I do try to walk and do exercise to strentghten my back as much as I can.

The discomfort make me even more aware of what I lift and how much I can lift. I can lift my 20+ lbs toddler tho and he is sort of semi-heavy.

hey - - no i had a 2 level fusion l4/l5 , l5/s1 2 roRAB and 6 screws... very pain full.

yes mine micro D was done in 1995,but over the years it went down hill.Dr R seemed much more pleasant and willing to spend the time then,my last visit in 2006 wasn't the same,he got very snippy when I canceled the surgery.I don't know, guess its me a baby as usual
