simpkinst--- sometimes people like you fool me by actually walking UPRIGHT. I don't put 20k miles on my cars either-duh. I am not judging you, you made it abundantly clear what you are.

Mileage is relative. I only put a couple thousand on each year. I own my own company and worked my ass off. Everything I own is payed for and i will be "retiring" at the end of this year at 38 years old. Sure I can do 20k miles a year and work till Im 65. But why?? Ask me how many miles I put on next year while your at work.

Here's my funny story about this. I was sitting in a local watering hole and got up to go to the bathroom and while I was walking back to my seat another feller (kind of a friend) ask me: "Say Les do you ride your bike much?".

I knew what he was getting at. He's a non-biker and can't understand why anybody would ride one....and a few of our friends all bought Harley's back in 2000 to 2004. They rode a bout 1,000 miles a year, then either sold them or parked them. He and the other two dickheads that were sitting with him, were getting ready to chastize me for waisting money on a motorcycle.

Anyway, I said "Well the last two years (since I've bought a touring bike) I've rode over 11,000 miles each year..........and I don't go on any trips, I just ride around local. (local in Texas is a 100 mile radius)". He about spit his beer out, I mean water and said 11,000 per year? I said sure that's what it's been. He said he didn't even drive his car 11,000 miles a year......and that includes a trip to Florida and Indianna each year to see his family.

It was funny to me anyways.
