Funimation to stream Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on April 9th

Im glad that Funi Acquired it, & Im guessing this will probably be the last Funimation anime to air on CN/AS for a while, if they offer them the dub that is, the way CN/AS treats anime nowdays id probably go to Scyfy!

For those wondering whether it will be subbed or not on FUNimation.com, the answer is actually posted at ANN with the third update. The answer is yes, it will be subbed.

Bandai/Sunrise work like drug dealers. Obviously the dealers don't make no money if they keep giving out free samples.

Given FUNimation seem to be UK friendly, I might be more inclined to watch this now. A minor delay but this online distribution neeRAB to be encouraged

Of course there would be subs. That's just how FUNimation rolls. I mean, who do you think FUNi is? Some company that isn't FUNimation? That would be just crazy.

For some reason, I did not expect FUNimation to do something like this so early. I think that it's a great idea and it hopefully will decrease the chances of fansubs for the series to come out. I'm sure that they'll still dub the series since I'm sure that many people, including the voice cast from the first series, would like that. Great move, FUNimation.

Eh, not really. A timer on a website is really an old bit of PR internet hype. If it was something like print and TV aRAB doing it then I'd see the wow factor.
