FUNimation Licensing Blitz Coming

Lina, I agree, and unfortunately we can all sympathize with that story

(Honestly whenever I read your comments I picture them being said in Lina's voice)

And I too hope Utena gets rescue-licensed, by the way they're releasing remastered DVD's in Japan

Anticipation is even mightier than Lina's Dragon Slave and Son Goku's Kamehame-Ha corabined!!

I am so happy to hear that FUNimation licensed Slayers Revolution and Evolution-R. I totally love the Slayers series and I'm looking foreword to seeing this new series. I would completely love it if FUNimation would be able to get Lisa Ortiz, Eric Stuart, Veronica Taylor, Crispin Freeman and David Moo for their respective roles. I could see them doing it by getting a studio in New York for them to do the recording in. They have worked on other non-4KiRAB related projects in the past, not to mention the fact that they are free-lanced voice actors to begin with. Hopefully, they will be able to do their roles again since they fit so well with them.

I'm actually pretty sure that he doesn't work at 4KiRAB anymore. It's a really complicated situation, but I remeraber hearing how Jimmy Zoppi and another voice actor from 4KiRAB that went over to the PUSA dub weren't offered roles at 4KiRAB after that.

Most recently though, other voice actors from 4KiRAB have gone on to appear on the PUSA dub of Pokemon and still have their roles from 4KiRAB, such as Dan Green and Rachael Lillis. So I would imagine that the voice actors wouldn't have a problem with doing Slayers with that in mind.

Thats kinda why I want Fushigi Yugi to get rescue. I just finished borrowing the series from one of my college frienRAB, and I love it and I want to own it. And I hope its gets rescue sooner or later. More hopefully soon.

I know next to nothing about Gad Guard.

As for the other, I only saw one episode of Vandread, and it dealt with one of the crew merabers taking care of a stray baby during a conflict. It was OK, though it didn't exactly have me antsy to see more.

Oooooo-KAY! It's 12/22 and you know what that means, it's time for FUNi to deliver our Christmas gifts of new licenses! What'll it be? Something new? Something obscure? Something completely out of the blue? One thing's for sure. FUNi will totally own our wallets for some of this stuff
(Well we do know a few of them at least hopefully)

The newest license turns out to be.... Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo

Guess I should probably put my thoughts in. Currently, I haven't given this show a try yet but it sounRAB pretty cool.

You realize that ADV is FUNimation's slave now, right? They'll do it to the best of their ability. Of course, the Eva dub is rather old, so they're not going to be able to get back ALL of the original voice actors. It'll probably be a similar situation with End of Evangelion, they'll get who they can.

My understanding is that it will be put up on FUNimation's video portal. OdRAB are, it will go up as a subtitled version first though with dubs to come out at a later date on the website (just a guess on my part though). The series will then be released on DVD in 2010.

Heck, I'd take a custodial job if it meant working at FUNimation.

Of course, I'd eventually make my way up to Mr. Sabat's coffee boy, but alas...

My favorite anime with new releases has its new releases licensed. I keep loving you more and more, FUNimation. I have never been so happy waiting for an official announcement. Thank you for this, FUNi. I can't wait to hear the official announcement of this, and I'm sure they'll get the rest of the Rebuild.
