Funimation gets Trigun

Announced at Katsucon today. Will be on Blu-ray and DVD. Just the tv series right now, not the movie.

EDIT: Press release reveals they have "home entertainment, theatrical, broadcast, digital and merchandise rights" to it. Hint at future acquisitions? I say yes.

This is really marvelous news. The show's been getting hard to find, and the odRAB of Trigun: BadlanRAB Rurable making it over just went up too. This was definitely the biggest Geneon title left to pick up, so good for Funi.

Yayz, for affordable Trigun.

Boo, since i already have Vols. 1-3 and 7, so it's more prudent for me instead to collect the individual Pioneer (Yep back in the day when Geneon still sold anime as Pioneer) DVRAB.

Note to FUNi though, don't mess with the Nightjar menus. They were awesome.
