okay so I am interested in public interest law and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or possible resources for funding law school (i already have debt accumulated from undergrad)

A growing number of law schools now offer LRAPs (Loan Repayment Assistance Programs). They provide assistance with loan repayment after you graduate, if you work in a public interest job and make less than the designated income limit. I would check to make sure the law school you plan to attend has such a program. Barring any other scholarship assistance on the front end, you will have to accumulate law school debt, and then use an LRAP to help repay it over time. I was fortunate enough to attend a law school that offered LRAP assistance, and it was a great help. Check the American Bar Association website to get more details on this. Good luck!
