I've recently got my driving licence and would like to take my boyfriend on a day trip that doesn't involve more than 2 hours driving in one direction from Brighton (so up to 2hrs there and up to 2hrs back is about my limit). Problem is, everything seems to be geared towards kids or families and naturally I can't drink if I'm driving.
I've looked at Rye, hmmm. Bluebell Railway, New Forest.
There is a medieval fair on at Battle on he 30th & 31st May.
But I would love to find something really interesting and different and dare I say, a bit more fun than looking at churches or castles for a day.
Any ideas?
