So, this guest approaches my desk today (for those who aren't familiar, I work at a hotel):
Guest: "Your wireless internet doesn't work, wah. I can't get on, wah."
Me: "Did you call the support desk?"
Guest: "No! They're just going to tell me to have you reset your system."
Oh fucking really? Well gosh, I guess I'd better just take your word for it since, apparently, you're psychic! :cheerldr:
Um. No.
20 minutes later, the same guest strolls through the lobby and says he talked to support and they said the problem is "definitely" with our system. We'll see about that...
*dials number*
Me (on the phone with support): "We've been getting complaints about our internet. Any way you could check our system, see if it's a problem on our end?"
Support: *pause*
Support: "Everything's up and running."
"Definitely" our problem, huh? I'm sick of lying ass, lazy, stupid customers. The next time someone tries to pull that shit, I should call up support on speakerphone while the guest is standing here at the desk so they--and all the other guests in the lobby--can hear for themselves that our wireless system is fine and that they are an idiot. :banana:
