I'm a high school student looking for some light reading, preferably fantasy or sci-fi. I'm hoping for a series designed for readers a little younger than myself, like the Percy Jackson series, which I just finished. Any ideas?
I should mention that I like Harry Potter and Maximum Ride, but not Artemis Fowl, Twilight, or Eragon.
And I've read His Dark Materials.
I've read the Princess Bride and it was great, but I HATED "Hoot" because it was so self-righteous about saving the poor innocent owls from the evil, evil humans.
