FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

If they stick with the manga storyline.....it will be good for those who haven't read the manga....since it is one of my favorite series...I might watch the remake XD.

I agree, This is the first time me hearing about this and when i read the thread i freaked out but A remake?? if they do that then they destroyed the anime.... unless they make it more dark and mysterious

He does kick ass, but he's also an incredibly big hearted guy, and it would be amazingly difficult for him to partake in the killing in innocent people. Those weren't soldiers being massacred behind that wall, they were civilian refugees, many of them elderly, women, and children.

Haven't seen it yet. >>;

But from what I read it's as I guessed would happen last week... the "fight" ended and direct things happened.

Meaning next ep is just the wrapping up of stuff one.

This series just never lets up, every episode just keeps getting better and better, Hohenheim had fused some of the souls wanting revenge into Fathers body, but Father was able to leave his container and still be ok, Bradley v Greed was a good fight, and Fu's arrival was awesome, hopefully he can assist Greed in defeating Bradley, but he may just get in the way.

I'm guessing that since the remake has been following the manga plotline consistently, we can expect an end to the series soon. It's only 50/52 episodes, right? Otherwise, the producers will likely use another fabricated ending, which seems like a waste given the effort they've put in to try to match the manga.

At least, that's what I'm hoping for. The desire for closure has been killing me for some time now.

Episode 52- the fight was pretty good. I can't believe he ate kiblee he took advantage and basically used him as a dool. I bet if he was kible was in good condition he would kick his ass if he attempted to do that. So where is hoheinheim now?

A thirteen episode remake? NO WAY.

It won't be thirteen episodes. They aren't remaking it to do some crappy 13 episode thing. I'm hoping for 52+ episodes.

Magazine scans of the new series:
The designs don't look that dissimilar to the original ones, but there are some subtle changes. Both Ed and Al look a bit rounder, much more like the manga art style.

Anyway, I highly doubt this will be a sequel, especially since they production staff team is different from the first series. 99% sure it's going to follow the manga storyline. Hopefully the VAs will stay the same.

I think there is but idk if its still practiced but it so woudl be much cooler if alchemy was like it was in FMA. If it was man life woudl be interesting all I could say. But then again FMA is just one of many series I woudl think it be interesting if what it represented really existed.

So because you are not a fan you have to restrain yourself from trolling it

Anyway episode 28 was interesting, I wonder how father was able to stop Al and Ed from using Alchemy and how Scar was still able to, father took a head on attack from Scar without flinching, that's quite scary.

Who was that guy firing ice everywhere? Been a few years since I read any FMA but don't remeraber anyone like that.

I read it was going to be following the Manga... so what gives?
