FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

No...I feel the characters are the same...and I'm glad I don' have to sit through a bunch of drama to get to the important details.

Hell, we're seeing more of Bradely than we ever saw in the Anime.

Episode 18 was another great one, I knew Mustang wouldn't kill Ross, it was a very nice plan they came up with to save her, also I have to say this again, Barry the Chopper is god I hope Ed can fix his armor like he does Al's.

Im disappointed with the OP. I really like the first theme song of brotherhood and it was probably the best. I did enjoy the video a lot but the music was meh.

Also I liked the episode. Those immortal soldiers are disturbingly brutal and things are just about to get ineteresting.

Yeah, it really is. Brotherhood is fantastic, but there's still some stuff that it's missing- though not since episode 30.

That episode, the Ishbal flashback, was originally a 170 page epic detailing the war from all angles- Mustang/Hughes/Hawkeye, Scar, Winry's parents, Marcoh and Knox, etc. - but a large portion of the material was removed, and it lacked the sense of chaos that the manga had. Some of the scenes have been added to other episodes and I bet some of the others will be added later, but there's still a lot that will probably never be animated.

Brotherhood is great, but the manga's even better.

Episode 60:

OH. MY. GOD.

Or that's pretty much what I would say if I -didn't- read the manga first.

1) The epic showdown between Scar and Wrath... with the reveal that Scar also now has a left arm of Reconstruction.

2) May showing some MAJOR guts in trying to take down Father all by herself... then gets her ass handed to her by him.

3) The Ishvalans scrarabling to put together the countermeasure- the purification circle discovered encoded in Scar's brother's notes.

But all of that, while awesome, pales in comparison to basically the last third of the episode, where Father sacrifices the entire nation, opens up a GINORMOUS gate, and basically initiates Third Impact.

WOW. Reading it in manga is one thing, seeing it played out in animation is something else.

Wow. Epic. I'm actually excited for it.

I did see those Armstrong heaRAB. i was like 'Wtf is going on here?!'

The ice alchemist is...a intriguing possibility. It looks really BA in my opinion.

It does follow the manga so if you read the manga you should see some things that are familiar in Brotherhood and the manga series. And you know I like the name Brotherhood it idk how to explain it but I just like it maybe cause its the unity of the the Elric Brothers.

It seemed abit to obvious to me what Armstrong was trying at the end of episode 35, maybe it was just because we knew the plan and what she was going for but Raven seemed to get sucked in to easily, I wonder if he suspects and is playing along.

Hopefully it will use some of the original characters. it better have the elrics in it though... FMA isn't FMA with of them. ... but jeez, we have to wait another whole year! I can't wait that long!

It's a continuration ive been watching sicne it was relaesed so far only 2 eps into it but ive got high hopes for it so far i like it alot.

I've really loved this series so far as stuff actually happens in every episode. It's sad that that can't be said of a lot of things... >>

I started reading the manga cuz I want to know what happens next.
Makes more excited to see how it'll look animated...

THis whole thing that Envy will come in and attack them was a whole set up that alphonso ed and the other will bring the enemy along with them which was retarded seeing as what happened in the preview of the next episode. You're trying to figure out how to save the ****ing country and you have two enemies from kirablee who tried to kill Ed? Just stupid.

According to Funimation's official youtube channel, we have a US release date for part 1 of FMA: Brotherhood: April 20, 2010. This is for both Blu Ray and DVD.

I think that transmuting food properly would be incredibly complex. It's not like transmuting iron, stone, or steel, etc because as far as chemical makeup they're all pretty much uniform, whereas an item of food usually isn't.
