FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

I agree with ZOG. With the story material they have, I think they could even put in all the story they have in a 24 episode format, put it in breakneck speed, and still get away with it. Regardless of the storytelling they'll use, I've always though the manga's plot alone is just too good to not be turned ino an anime. I mean, yeah, I think it's that good.

Sorry, I should've made myself more clearer. I was talking about the whole atmosphere rather than the whole storyline. But then again, there isn't really that much difference. (I guess I'm a bit stressed these days. Each time I read them again, my recent posts in A4 always sound a bit confusing)

Anyway, looking forward to the next episode. (Seriously, don't mind my posts. Sometimes I just spout out some random things.)

I liked episode 48. I would have figured that was his weakness but I have to say his look is very deceiving but what he did truly showed who he really was.

I believe he did say that but I think he met that his body was a vessel for the philosophers stone as opposed to the idea that he actually was the philosophers stone.

Just watched episode 59. Wow things are set up for the last few episodes. I really am interested to see how this turns out considering it seems like they is no way that they can currently win. I am guessing Hohenheim is gonna play a big role in the next few episodes.

Also I feel extremely bad for Mustang.

There's still some interesting parts in there. You'll just have to skip over a large amount of recap material.

Also I'm surprised at the amount of spoilerish material in the new OP. Definitely wasn't expecting that the anime would get so far into the manga material.

The best part of this? They're really wrapping up what took over five episodes before.
At this rate, they'll get past the original show before the end of season.

Also, I think the examination part was done much better this time around.

Finally we are getting to see some new stuff now, if I remeraber correctly the whole Greed situation was done differently here, even the taking of Al was different.

That was an excellent introductory episode. It included a bit of everything that made the first series great:
Armstrong muscle flex, jokes about Ed's height, Hughes showing off the photo of his daughter, alchemy action, flashback of the attempt at human transmutation

It was a little odd watching a remake, knowing what happens to certain characters in the first series. Still, the production quality and story intro is bloody amazing as expected. The only crappy part is having to wait another week.

this is ok so far...i would like them to go into more detail in some spots but all in all its not as good as the first but for a remake its pretty decent...

I liked the plot, action and dialog of the first episode. I did not like the animation. I thought it was a little over simplified and the high lights seemed out of place. And I did not like the way EdwarRAB face was drawn in the opening credits.

I'm hoping I forgot enough to enjoy it a second time. I only watched it once.

Only Armstrong's mustache move when spoke.

Fuhrer King Bradley. That's kind of a mash up. German and English title attacked to an English name. Did the translators get it wrong.
