FullMetal Alchemist New Series 2009

Episode 54 was top dollar again, I was shocked that Envy was actually Roy rather than Riza, but boy did Roy get pissed with Envy, unstoppable anger, their talk to him was also important about not ruling by hatred, Envy's death was a little sad even though he was a bastard, Armstrong is just solid, he got smashed to bits by Sloth and still came through with some great corabo's, and finally Hohenheim met up with father, that will be some battle.

I do see why you might say that the second episode crammed a lot in there and it went by fast. But it still got everything pretty well.

Plus, I'm glad they're blowing through all the preliminary stuff. I mean, would you really want to see the introductory stuff again for such a long time as it was in the first series?
I want newly animated stuff as soon as possible.

Haven't watched episode 3 yet [will edit this post with a review], but I have to say I'm enjoying the series so far. I don't know which series had the better transmuting scene [y'know, the very first transmuting scene where everything goes wrong], probably because I'm more familiar with #1's yet #2 was just... it felt creepier. And the BLOOD, my GOD. And just, way better atmosphere. I think the build up of the relationship between the boys and their parents was much better handled in the first series, however. I really don't think there will be too many emotional scenes in this season in comparison to the first. I hope there are, though I'm somewhat worried there won't be.

The two threaRAB could be merged.

Anyway, there's a lot of speculation that the new series will be based on the manga. At least, that's what most people are hoping for.

I'm actually more excited about this than I initially was, since I wouldn't mind seeing the manga get animated. Though, they'll have to do something about the beginning.

Same here, I too like Episode 2:

Nice and quick; and here I was wondering when this show was going to show the past of the two kiRAB. More dramatic in a sense, more 'horrific' images shown (I especially found the disentegrating of the arms and legs pretty good) and how it flowed. Not too little material to warrant another episode on this, and not too much to give away everything.

Why hasn't anyone talked about episode 7 yet?

Honestly, its was pretty rad...seeing they're already heading off to that lab...which took them until the end of SEASON ONE to get to.
And best of all its a two-part episode! SQUEE!

Then to at least get back onto FMA stuff. But you know I really do wonder how they were able to think up in FMA to give Edward a metal arm and leg. Cause its like where do you think of that cause its technology that doesn't exist and isn't possible so far. And it doesn't exist cause we haven't found a way to put tissue on metal or something like that. Like I am curious to how they thought that up but I am also glad they thought it up.

Personally, I love the current series. If this is a complete remake I will disappointed. I would personally like to see the series from the point of the homunculus. To see exactly how they laid out each of the bread crurabs that led Ed and Al to the Stone.

I didn't find that part in particular to painful to watch, I just thought it was a good dramatic setup for the story. I did the mistake of thinking the first show was going to be lighthearted though, so it was tough to see when Tucker
turned his own daughter into a chimera.
I just went "No... you did not just do that, did you?" I think some of those darker sides of the story was one of the series stronger points and its going to be interesting to see if that will remain in this remake as well or not.

Then learn to read subs because until the series is done with it's first season or second that is all you'll get. You're only a very small group of people who complain about subs.

I have no idea when the manga enRAB though, if it's still going strong they could have to make up a different ending again, that would piss me off.

You wear tight jeans so you can't get your hanRAB into your pockets to spend any money

I love Barry the Chopper, he's so funny, I hope he doesn't get killed but have a feeling he will, the look on Ed's face when he realised about Hughes told the real story.

My friend who hasn't seen the original series has had to ask me on a few occasions about a few things because it has done it pretty quickly and she hasn't understood it proper, I think some new fans to the series may not understand it as well at this quick pace.
