Guys, It worked for me on iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS old bootroom not new

i got error 17 when update iphone 3gs week 33 (from serial number 4th and 5th number) with model MC from 3.1.3 modem 5.11.01 to sn0wbreeze custom 4.0. can't update it with sn0wbreeze. why?
maybe it depends on which jailbreak software i use?
