Can you log into the host file using notepad?

If yes..., simple copy/paste this 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com under the last row in the host file

So this 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com will be ur last row
next save it.

Go ahead and restore to 3.1.3
 
rubbish solution. no matter how I change the setting, just keep coming up " not eligible etc.... " There is no way to bypass the apple server.
 
What if I have an Iphone 3GS 16GB with these versions posted in the picture?

if i change the host 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
and try to restore
what will happen?

i am doing 1 no 32gb yesterday OK 100% but same anothar 4 sets 16gb 3gs os4 to 3.1.3 downgrade not posible erroe 3014

Last week i downgrades one 3Gs ver 4 to 3.1.3 succesfully but today no success, i get error 3194 .

is this a fake solution:

The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored becauce the firmware files was corrupt.
 
are you sure you put it .ipsw?
check again.

if u sure then DOWNLOAD IT AGAIN

this method is fine with me
BUT NOT WORKS FOR 3.1.2
ONLY TO 3.1.3
 
any one can show the screenshot he saying on his thread?
because i didnt see any screenshot below after that sentece...

Please Clear me one There is written in this method that we must have to save SHSH files for downgrading 3gs and then there is a Trick with iTune,

im confused that if any person have not saved SHSH then with the help of itunes trick can we downgrade iphone or not ?
