im trying to downgrade my iphone iso4 version.
following is the log file hostfile

i got itune inststalled 9.2
when restore it to 3.13 after selecting iso 3.1.3 itune give me this error

The iphone "iphone" could not be restorred An unknown error occurre(3194)

fone is 16gb 3gs can any one have any solution or trick or m i making mistake

tried and tried but didn't work on 3gs new boot..already check with cydia and shsh file is in server but always get the same error...error3014 on itunes 9.2 not eligible on itunes 9.1.....check host and every is the same guide...
 
Easy for evoid pb error make it before Begins restoration !!

Edit host file :




After host edit open cmd ( command dos )

type it :

ipconfig /flushdns enter


ipconfig /registerdns enter

Now open Itunes and run restore
 
i got iphone is not eligible, i cant save the hosts file as overwritten. using windows xp, but it saves as .txt.
 
I have done it, 2 pc's iPhone 3Gs MC-models. 16Gb and 32Gb, both with SHSHs blobs saved on saurik. And by tricking itunes with the ip in notepad, you are allowed to downgrade from OS 4.0 to 3.1.3.




IF ur iPhone is a MC model, forget about downgrade if you dont have the SHSHs blobs saved.

Edit: Confirm!!! Yes, iphone 3Gs with new or old bootrom can be downgraded with this procedure..after trying with few computers, it finally worked on one..I was able to downgrade 4.0 to 3.1.3 and upgrade 3.1.2 to 3.1.3 with 3gs new bootrom...thanks.

Make sure that you put the iTunesMobileDevice.dll in the RecBoot folder!
