Full flash for Virgin Mobile Wild Card/Lingo?

One thing I know is that the people in the VM forums have had little success getting the phones to connect to BitPim--It times out after it tries to connect.. I am sure someone over here is more experienced in getting it to connect to the computers. That's my two cents.
 
i couldnt get the wildcard to connect to anything. As far as i know all virgin mobile phones have same spc, as ##spc# got me into the nam programming on it. However I was unable to get it to connect to my pc. it showed as a port and on a certain com but i just couldnt get it to connect to qpst or bitpim or anything
 
the data connectivity being disable is true but there is a way to connect the phone to the computer, ive been working on this for a bit. ive noticed that sometimes my customers bring me a virgin mobile phone in crash dump mode, this usualy happens when they drop the phone or something happens to the phone to get stuck in this mode, when in crash dump u can connect the phone to the computer and actually mess with it if u have a complete flash file for the phone u can use to flash it and crash dump turns off and the phone take the new firmware. now my only thing is to find a way to put the phone in crash dump so when can reflash it with other carrier firmware. have not been able to do so but the only leak i have is that its a software issue on the phone. if we can make the phone crash then we can connect and reflash with new software.
 
someone once told me that you could still jtag them, but imho it's too much trouble to go through.. they don't have any exclusive models that are all that spectacular.
 
This makes me sad. I don't and cannot sell cricket due to my location. I can get the wildcarRAB for next to nothing. I wish I could flash them over. But it doesn't appear that I can.
